Helping a Deserving Individual or Family Own a Home
Our mission could not be accomplished without wonderful volunteers like you!
Wesley CDC offers exciting volunteer building opportunities for individuals, families, church groups, local business teams, student organizations, youth groups and more. If you have a particular skill to contribute or simply a passion for helping others, just open our VOLUNTEER PACKET (see below) and let us know how you would like to help!
We welcome individual volunteers or teams for a day, several days, a week or even more to fit our construction schedule. No experience or money is needed, just a willing heart and a helping hand.
Due to insurance purposes, we CANNOT accept youth volunteers under the age of 15.
Proof of age is required.

Volunteer Housing
For your use, we maintain two 14x80, 3-bedroom, 2-bath, manufactured homes in Statesville that are fully equipped and will each sleep 12 volunteers. Each residence is furnished with 6 bunk beds, 2 sofas, 2 chairs and loveseats. Fully heated and air conditioned, our volunteer quarters are also equipped with cooking and eating utensils plus a washer and dryer.
 What You Will Need to Bring
- Food, drinks, snacks
- Bed and bath linens, pillows & blankets
- Coolers for transporting lunch & beverages to job site
- Paper products for housing
- Weather appropriate work and relaxation clothing
- Disposable face masks, gel sanitizer, safety glasses
- Any favorite hand tools (we provide tools required to build home on site)
